Delivering great customer service day in/day out does not happen by chance. Some businesses manage to achieve this. To do so, they have a business culture that values every single customer, be they an individual or another business. The Excellence in Customer Service by the Whole Business Award recognises businesses that have established and maintain a high standard in customer service and empower each employee to deliver great service every time.
The judges will consider:
- Demonstrated commitment to the consistent delivery of excellent customer service
- The procedures put in place to manage customer service standards
- Demonstrated commitment to employee development
- The positive impact of excellent customer service on the business, other businesses and the customers
You may wish to submit authentic testimonials to support your application.
Judges may act as ‘mystery shoppers‘ to assess the level of customer service provided by the business. There may be more than one ‘assessment‘. Events and all relevant mediums will be used, including ‘in store‘, phone or online enquiries, if appropriate.
