Lake Macquarie businesses have only 26 days left to enter the 2014 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards.
Beth Webb, of Webb’s Gallery in Kahibah, was a finalist and winner at the 2012 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards and believes that entering the Awards is a valuable process for any business:
“Having just started my new business, I didn’t think I had a chance at winning, but I saw the application process as a great opportunity to stop and take measure of where I was, how I got there, and most importantly, where I was going.”
“The day to day activities of running a small business keep me pretty busy and I know only too well how hard it is to take time out to measure how you’re going. By entering the Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards I had a template to work with, set questions to respond to and a firm deadline. I would urge anyone in business to look at the Awards, not only as a way to get your name up in lights, but as a great tool to use in analysing the core of your business.”
Lake Macquarie businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to profile their business and showcase their achievements to the local community by submitting an entry for one or more of the 14 Award Categories and three Major Awards at the Enter the Awards page.
To enter the 2014 Awards, businesses must be based in or have an operation in the Lake Macquarie Local Government Area and be a ratepayer to Lake Macquarie City Council.
Entries close on Saturday 3rd May.
