With more than 450 entries and over 50 winning businesses from the last four years, in 2016 The Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards will continue with the trend of highlighting and celebrating the pursuit of business excellence and achievement.
Entries are now open and Lake Macquarie businesses of all shapes and sizes are encouraged to enter online and take advantage of this opportunity to tell their story, share their passion and promote their business.
The Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards are an initiative of the Business Growth Centre. The aim of the Awards is to recognise businesses operating within the City of Lake Macquarie who provide exemplary products, services and so much more.
Business Growth Centre Manager, Brett Gleeson believes entering the 2016 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards is a true indication of a businesses’ ongoing effort to improve and grow:

The entry process can assist business owners with planning for a positive future and can help them identify areas of growth and improvement.”
The 2016 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards features 13 award categories and three major awards. The award categories focus on a range of business functionalities including branding and marketing, business systems, workforce training and development, customer service, innovation, entrepreneurship, retail practices, workplace health and safety and sustainability.
The three major awards acknowledge the contribution of an individual or business to the Lake Macquarie community. Organisers are pleased to advise that the general public will be able to continue to nominate an individual for the Business Person of the Year or Young Business Person of the Year.
Winners of the 2016 Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner, which will be held on Saturday 23rd July 2016 at Belmont 16s.
To enter the 2016 Awards, businesses must be based in or have an operation in the Lake Macquarie LGA.
